Dr. Dennis Devinney - Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Dennis Devinney graduated with honors from The University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth and completed his Orthopedic residency training in Michigan. He then went on to complete fellowships in Orthopedic Trauma, and Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Fl. As an Orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Devinney enjoys the technical aspects of his profession but thrives on the rewards he receives from interacting with his patients. “I gain the greatest satisfaction from helping people return to their regular activities, thus improving their quality of life. It’s gratifying to allow them to do the things they enjoy. That’s very rewarding to me.” His special interests include joint replacement surgery of the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee, complex fracture surgery, rotator cuff repair, and arthroscopy of the shoulder, elbow and knee.

Dr. Shawn Mansour - Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Shawn Mansour, specially trained in orthopedic trauma, left a demanding practice at Baylor University to find a balance of what was important to him: family, career and environment. To Dr. Mansour, being a doctor is more than treating a broken bone. It's about caring for the whole person. "I am interested in where my patients are in life and where they want to be and doing everything I can to restore their function to them." His special interests include traumatic hand injuries and limb salvage.

Dr. Robert Howard - Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Robert Howard earned his medical degree with honors at Boston University School of Medicine, Boston, Massachusetts. His residency in Orthopaedic Surgery was completed at the State University of New York Health Science Center, Brooklyn, New York. He completed fellowship training in Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina. 

After excelling academically at Boston University and practicing in New York and North Carolina, Dr. Howard is pleased to be a physician in East Texas. “I feel that every patient is a challenge that I enjoy taking on,” he said. “Seeing them come back, walking in your office after several months of treatment and therapy is definitely rewarding.”

His clinical interests include Pelvis and Acetabulum (hip socket) surgery, complex upper and lower extremity trauma, hip and knee joint replacement, and knee joint arthroscopy. Full CV

Dr. David Navid - Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. David Navid graduated with honors from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth and completed his Orthopedic residency training in Michigan. His advanced fellowship training in the treatment and surgery of foot and ankle disorders was done in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Navid understands the importance of listening to the needs of his patients. “I spend time with my patients in order to create a partnership in their care and treatment plan. My goal is to achieve the best patient outcomes while always considering the most conservative and least invasive treatment options available.”

His clinical interests include joint replacement surgery of hip, knee and ankle, lower extremity trauma, arthroscopy of the knee and ankle, and sports medicine.

Dr. Joseph Conflitti - Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Joseph Conflitti attended Texas A& M University Health Science Center and earned his medical degree with honors in 1995. He subsequently completed a general surgery internship at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base, TX. He then served on active duty as a flight surgeon for four years in the United States Air Force.

His residency in orthopedic surgery was completed at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He completed an AO fellowship in orthopedic trauma in Berlin, Germany, and then trained for one year in Seattle, WA, completing an orthopedic trauma fellowship at the University of Washington Harborview Medical Center.

Originally from Texas, he is pleased to be back to the Lone Star State. As an orthopedic traumatologist, Dr. Conflitti’s training allows him to care for nearly all bone injuries for his patients. His special interest is in surgery to the pelvis and acetabulum or hip socket, joint fracture surgery to the upper and lower extremities, and management of limb deformities and nonunions. In addition to his advanced clinical work in orthopedic trauma surgery, he also continues to practice general orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Conflitti performs joint replacement surgery to the hip and knee, soft-tissue surgery to the extremities, and arthroscopic surgery to the knee. Dr. Conflitti’s goal is to help patients lead healthy lives after their injury. Returning a patient back to their previous activity level is what he constantly strives for. “I really enjoy being able to take care of patients and letting them know that I’m going to do everything I can to get them back how they were before.
